The jacket fits larger than I expected, but this is good because it's more comfortably fitting than I was expecting! The design looks great, and is rather warm because it traps heat pretty well! I love this jacket, and it's a different style depending on whether or not you have the hood attached. I bought the jacket planning on attaching el wire to it for a cyberpunk look, but it looks great either way! My only problem with it is that the zippers on the pockets are rather rough on the hands, so the jacket pockets are uncomfortable to put your hands in without getting scratched.

This jacket is really awesome. It looks great on and is well made. Love the texture and the lining. The only thing I would change about it is that the sleeves are a bit too long. I just tucked them under and it looks fine. It IS a men's jacket and I'm a woman so maybe that's why. But, it still looks great and I LOVE it! Highly recommended.

I ordered this jacket as part of my Halloween costume for this year, and in that regard, it is absolutely prefect for my Shadowrun-inspired, cyberpunk concept. The fabrication is great, velvet is nice to the touch and the detailing on the faux leather collar is sharp. Very nice for costuming purposes. That being said, had I ordered this as an everyday fashion piece, I would have been fairly disappointed. The buttons on the turtleneck part are not quite right, and the lapels don't match up correctly. One lapel sits noticeably narrower than the other, and must be constantly fiddled with to look the same width as its opposite, by which point the proportions where the lapels hit on each side of the chest looks off. It should be noted that I ordered the large size, and in my opinion as someone who works with clothing, it seems that to accommodate a larger frame, the producer just extends the middle, buttoned turtleneck part, instead of also widening the back and sides. At this point I would also like to note that the costume ultimately came from China, which could account for a general difference in proportions for larger sizes--although I am no stranger to ordering costume items from Asia. Another problem, which I am willing to admit may be an issue with my particular shoulder to neck proportion, is that the turtleneck sits high up, easily to my chin, and is a bit wide and sloppy. No telling if it's me, a sizing issue, or whatever, but just be aware that bigger sizes of this may not be as slim a look as you hope. Lastly, I want to point out to potential buyers, because I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting: yes, the jacket includes the middle, buttoned up turtleneck part, but mine did NOT have the lace detailing at the cuffs pictured in the description. Frankly, that lack of lace cuff suits me just fine, but it is worth noting that particular detail may or may not be included in what you order. Besides that, though, this item is exactly as pictured from a basic fabrication and construction standpoint. It seems that I am overly focusing on the negative aspects of this item, so I want to reiterate that I am, in fact, HIGHLY PLEASED with this jacket for the purposes for which I bought it. Definitely worth the price for the statement costume piece, for me...but admittedly my love of Halloween and costuming is not typical. TL:DR VERSION: I'd be cautious about ordering it as a fashion piece, but I am thrilled to have this as a costume jacket which I can use for years to come.
