The weight of the fabric is great. The fit was as expected and true to the measurements of the sizing charts. The cape portion is a great length, almost long enough to trip over. The zippers operate well. The zipper pull on the pockets are small daggers. The zipper pulls on the cape are swords with snakes and skulls. The zipper pull for the main coat is a little dagger like the pockets, but it is a little flimsy. I broke it off on the third use. I replaced it with a small patch of 6-in-1 chain mail, making my coat that much more unique. The snaps on the cape hold it secure enough. The cape was sliding off the shoulder a bit, so I sewed a patch of hook and loop to hold it in place. The epaulet is a good shape, but the snap didn't hold the weight of the chain and disc that I needed to secure, so I pinned it in place using skull tipped dress pins. I also found shortening the front straps holding the cape kept them laying flat under more conditions than standing straight. I used dress pins for that too. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the construction and the material used. It is a replacement for a coat that I had for a long time, and I think it will live up to the legacy of the other coat.

This jacket took my Ozzy Osbourne Halloween costume over the top! It looks custom, and I think that the quality over delivered for the price.
